The Team Awareness Kit (TAK) Tracker, also referred to as the Tactical Assault Kit within the Department of Defense, is a specialized, lightweight application designed to facilitate integration into existing training and operational workflows. Developed exclusively for iOS, this application connects seamlessly to various TAK servers using either Data Packages or Certificate Enrollment methods. Additionally, it retains the capability to transmit information over local networks, aligning with the functionalities typically expected from TAK applications.

Key features of TAK Tracker include:

 <li>Location and CoT broadcast capabilities via UDP</li>
 <li>Emergency Beacon functionality</li>
 <li>Compatibility with Standard, Hybrid, and 3D Maps</li>
 <li>Customizable measurement units, including MGRS</li>
 <li>Efficiency in power consumption, allowing continuous operation in the background</li>
</ul>
